Arjen van Ravesteijn
Meet captain focus!
“Organic food is not a must but a guideline that is focused on long-term, use and pasing on, respect and understanding. It also stands for daring to think differently and being persistent in a difficult situation”
Who is Way Point?
Arjen van Ravesteijn grew up in a beautiful spot called the Veluwe in the Netherlands. His parents came from the west; His father from Rotterdam no nonsense brushing & tackle and his mother from Amsterdam charm & commercial spirit. From international exchanges, sobriety and openness to metropolitan pride and ambiance. Both parents were and are partly still very active as independent entrepreneurs and are in the midst of life. This strength and positivity are passed on and form the source and core.
Already early, Arjen discovered the need for the meaning of his contribution to the bigger picture. What is being tackled must contribute to a better environment for people and their living space. If you earn money as a means, not as a goal, then you have added value. Sustainability is needed, this requires focus.
Because of many and different tasks and assignments from the past and present, Arjen has grown (and continues to grow) to meet today´s challenges. He has united experiences such as efficiency, structuring, analysis, managing, developing, challenge, setting goals, leading teams, coaching and helping people to use their abilities. The companies are food producers, sales and marketing organizations that both consist of middle and small companies as well as large and corporate companies. All this viewed and assessed within markets, societal developments and business opportunities that make sense.

As in nature as in the market you have to survive, be stronger and/or smarter, and need to adapt to the constant changes in your environment. Therefore, always ask your self: what is the reason your business exists, today and tomorrow. This is where your product or service, market and society comes together and form an optimal but always changing mix.
